It was the year 2006, during one of my MBA classes, I, being an super introvert, rarely speaking up in class, had an unexpected turn of events. The HR team of IDBI Bank visited our campus for the recruitment of Bank Special Officer Posts. On that day, something inexplicable happened, and I found myself performing exceptionally well, competing against 120 of my peers. As a result, I was selected, along with three others.
Subsequently, I began my career at the bank, but I soon found that my job lacked excitement, and I had a persistent yearning to do something more fulfilling. However, due to a lack of clarity and various other factors, I found myself unable to progress, until I ultimately made the decision to resign from my job in 2011.Following my departure from the bank, I found myself employed in a prominent private company that was part of a large corporate group. However, it didn’t take long for me to witness firsthand the rampant corruption that pervaded the banking system and corporate world. After two years of working in a corporate job, my employer became embroiled in a major national scandal, and in 2013, I was left unemployed as I had to resign from the company..
Despite facing unemployment for two years, I was fortunate to have a friend who suggested I become a real estate broker and source large land parcels for real estate firms in Bangalore. I scoured various locations in Bangalore with great determination, presenting property proposals to numerous firms. However, I faced constant rejection with reasons cited by the firms. Unfortunately, I had invested all my savings into this venture, and by the end of two years, I found myself bankrupt, feeling like I had wasted my time chasing after properties shown by every tom dick and harry.
In 2015, I joined a Bangalore-based organization with a promising pay package of Rs. 20 Lakhs per annum. However, I was betrayed by the company as they failed to fulfill their commitment and did not provide the agreed compensation despite my unwavering hard work and sincere dedication to the organization. After enduring a non-conducive working environment for two years, I made the tough decision to quit the job. Despite the challenges, this experience taught me valuable lessons, honed my entrepreneurial skills, and fuelled my desire to venture independently.
In 2017 I started an Investment Banking Firm from then on it was a turning point for me to venture into multiple enterprises and I was doing extremely well, until one firm went into…………………………….
